THEIR STORY
HOW THEY MET
Andrea and Erik were high school sweethearts.
BRIDE'S PROFESSION
Medical Assistant
GROOM'S PROFESSION
Apprentice in Refrigeration
THE PROPOSAL
During a moonlit cruise on the bay, Erik asked Andrea to be his wife. After dinner and dancing, he got down on one knee, opened the jewelry box and the bride says her memory of what happened directly after that is hazy "like a dream."
THE GOWN
Andrea wore an Alexa Clair gown. An ivory mikado sheath with a princess-line silhouette, strapless neckline with embroidery, caviar beads and seed pearls.
NUMBER OF GUESTS / ATTENDANTS
175
THE THEME
The wedding was inspired by Andrea's loud personality and elegant taste. Bright reds, gold, silver and candy apple greens set the tone. Erik and his father chose the golf course and when Andrea saw his selection, her jaw dropped.
THE CAKE
Their wedding cake stood three and a half feet tall. Four tiers of mocha madness cake frosted in ivory buttercream divided by 14 dozen red roses.
CULTURAL TRADITIONS
Andrea's stepmother is Chinese and made the garter by hand. For luck, she stitched in red thread and three pearls.

Erik's family is Norwegian and so the wedding party and guests made a toast and said "Sko!"
FIRST DANCE SONG
"By Your Side" by Sade
THE MENU
Each guest was offered the following options: Filet Mignon, Roasted Chicken, Vegetable Tortellini and for the kids, Chicken Tenders.
WHAT MADE THE DAY UNIQUE
The ceremony aisle was filled with red rose petals and the letter 'S' was created from apple green flowers placed at the start of the aisle

A garden gate with clusters of roses around the arch and floating rose buds hanging down from the arch created the backdrop for the couple's vows

The reception pavilion was illuminated with over 250 candles

At every place setting sat a glass bead ladybug for luck and a baby candy apple green cymbidium orchid
